All fields are optional — only provided fields are changed. > **Moving a site to a different account:** Use `POST /sites/{site_id}/move` instead. `accountId` cannot be changed on a site update. > **Note on `geoLocation` and `fullAddress`:** Sending either field on update triggers geocoding — the backend may overwrite the stored coordinates with what Google Maps snaps to for the nearest address, so the values you send may not be stored as-is. There is currently no way to update coordinates without allowing the geocoder to potentially adjust them. Reference: https://docs.coperniq.io/api-reference/sites/update-site ## Authentication - `x-api-key` header (required) — API Key authentication via header ## Request ### Path parameters - `site_id` (string, required) ### Body (application/json) This endpoint expects a SiteUpdate. - `fullAddress` (string, optional) — Full address string. Backend will re-geocode when updated. - `geoLocation` (string, optional) — Latitude/longitude as "lat,lng". **On update**, sending this triggers a full re-geocode — the backend snaps to the nearest address via Google Maps, so the stored value may differ from what you sent. - `title` (string, optional) - `street` (string, optional) - `city` (string, optional) - `state` (string, optional) - `zipcode` (string, optional) - `timezone` (string, optional) — IANA timezone string (e.g. "America/Los_Angeles"). Use this to manually override the timezone if the geocoded value is incorrect or you are migrating from a system that has an explicit timezone already set. ## Response ### 200 Site updated successfully - `id` (integer, optional) — Unique site ID. - `accountId` (integer, optional) — ID of the account this site belongs to. - `title` (string, optional, nullable) — Human-readable label for the site (e.g. "Main Office"). - `fullAddress` (string, optional, nullable) — Full formatted address string. - `street` (string, optional, nullable) - `city` (string, optional, nullable) - `state` (string, optional, nullable) - `zipcode` (string, optional, nullable) - `geoLocation` (string, optional, nullable) — Latitude/longitude as "lat,lng" (e.g. "37.7749,-122.4194"). - `timezone` (string, optional, nullable) — IANA timezone string (e.g. "America/Los_Angeles"). - `createdAt` (string, optional, nullable) - `updatedAt` (string, optional, nullable) ## Errors ### 400 Bad Request Error Invalid request - `message` (string, optional) - `code` (enum, optional) - Allowed values: `NOT_FOUND` - `field` (string, optional) — Field that caused the validation error (if applicable) ### 401 Unauthorized Error Authentication failed - `message` (string, optional) - `code` (enum, optional) - Allowed values: `NOT_FOUND` ### 404 Not Found Error Resource not found - `message` (string, optional) - `code` (enum, optional) - Allowed values: `NOT_FOUND` ## Examples **Request** ```json {} ``` **Response** ```json { "id": 1, "accountId": 1, "title": "string", "fullAddress": "string", "street": "string", "city": "string", "state": "string", "zipcode": "string", "geoLocation": "string", "timezone": "string", "createdAt": "2024-01-15T09:30:00Z", "updatedAt": "2024-01-15T09:30:00Z" } ``` **SDK Code** ```python import requests url = "https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id" payload = {} headers = { "x-api-key": "", "Content-Type": "application/json" } response = requests.patch(url, json=payload, headers=headers) print(response.json()) ``` ```javascript const url = 'https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id'; const options = { method: 'PATCH', headers: {'x-api-key': '', 'Content-Type': 'application/json'}, body: '{}' }; try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data); } catch (error) { console.error(error); } ``` ```go package main import ( "fmt" "strings" "net/http" "io" ) func main() { url := "https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id" payload := strings.NewReader("{}") req, _ := http.NewRequest("PATCH", url, payload) req.Header.Add("x-api-key", "") req.Header.Add("Content-Type", "application/json") res, _ := http.DefaultClient.Do(req) defer res.Body.Close() body, _ := io.ReadAll(res.Body) fmt.Println(res) fmt.Println(string(body)) } ``` ```ruby require 'uri' require 'net/http' url = URI("https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id") http = Net::HTTP.new(url.host, url.port) http.use_ssl = true request = Net::HTTP::Patch.new(url) request["x-api-key"] = '' request["Content-Type"] = 'application/json' request.body = "{}" response = http.request(request) puts response.read_body ``` ```java import com.mashape.unirest.http.HttpResponse; import com.mashape.unirest.http.Unirest; HttpResponse response = Unirest.patch("https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id") .header("x-api-key", "") .header("Content-Type", "application/json") .body("{}") .asString(); ``` ```php request('PATCH', 'https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id', [ 'body' => '{}', 'headers' => [ 'Content-Type' => 'application/json', 'x-api-key' => '', ], ]); echo $response->getBody(); ``` ```csharp using RestSharp; var client = new RestClient("https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id"); var request = new RestRequest(Method.PATCH); request.AddHeader("x-api-key", ""); request.AddHeader("Content-Type", "application/json"); request.AddParameter("application/json", "{}", ParameterType.RequestBody); IRestResponse response = client.Execute(request); ``` ```swift import Foundation let headers = [ "x-api-key": "", "Content-Type": "application/json" ] let parameters = [] as [String : Any] let postData = JSONSerialization.data(withJSONObject: parameters, options: []) let request = NSMutableURLRequest(url: NSURL(string: "https://api.coperniq.io/v1/sites/site_id")! as URL, cachePolicy: .useProtocolCachePolicy, timeoutInterval: 10.0) request.httpMethod = "PATCH" request.allHTTPHeaderFields = headers request.httpBody = postData as Data let session = URLSession.shared let dataTask = session.dataTask(with: request as URLRequest, completionHandler: { (data, response, error) -> Void in if (error != nil) { print(error as Any) } else { let httpResponse = response as?
